Draft updated 4 October 2026
Pre-launch draft for legal review. This page accurately describes the current staging build, but the operating entity, privacy contact, retention periods, and governing-law details must be confirmed before production launch.
What this notice covers
This notice explains how the AREA team handles information collected on this website and through the beta waitlist. AREA is currently an informational preview and does not provide a wallet or financial service through this website.
Information we collect
- Waitlist details you choose to submit, including email or Telegram handle, the places you would use AREA, and optional wallet and X handles.
- Referral information, such as campaign parameters or the page that referred you.
- Basic technical and security information needed to deliver the site and prevent automated abuse.
- Usage analytics and masked session recordings only after you choose “Allow analytics.” Signup fields are configured to be masked from recordings.
How we use information
We use the information to operate the beta waitlist, select and contact potential beta participants, understand where AREA may be useful, protect the form from abuse, diagnose site problems, and improve the website when analytics consent is present.
Services that process information
The site uses its hosting and database providers to serve pages and store waitlist submissions. Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect the form. With consent, Google Analytics and PostHog process site-usage information; PostHog is configured to mask form inputs.
Choices and deletion
You can decline analytics or reopen “Analytics settings” in the footer. Declining stops analytics and clears analytics cookies set for this site. A confirmed privacy-contact address and deletion-request process will be added before launch.
Retention and sharing
We do not sell waitlist information. We share it only with providers that help operate the site and waitlist, or where required by law. Final retention periods and international-transfer language remain subject to legal review.
Public wallet information
A wallet address is optional. Blockchain addresses and their activity may be publicly visible and can become linked with other information. Do not submit a seed phrase or private key—AREA will never ask for either.
Changes
We may update this notice as the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current draft.
